Farewell to Elder Claire Trimble

After worship today we had a champagne toast to bid farewell to our one of our most active members,Claire Trimble. She has given so much of herself to New Orleans and to our congregation since she moved here in 2006.

She was part of first incoming class of the Tulane Law School after Katrina, from which she also graduated. She has been a blessing to us and our fair city, embracing the culture, becoming a homeowner, adoptive pet owner, member and a natural leader of our church's singing choir and bell choir and also the New Orleans Volunteer Orchestra. Claire has served on several committees, attended countless meetings, served on the Session including Clerk of Session, and is currently the chair of the Worship Committee.

We will miss her leadership, her organizational skills, musical gifts, and most of all her friendship. We wish Claire and Ray all the best is this new adventure as you move to Portland, OR. (Please excuse the blurry photo!)
