Langhorne Slim films music video "Changes"

First Presbyterian Church is enjoying our most recent 15 minutes of fame thanks to Americana indie rockers Langhorne Slim & The Law.

We were honored to be the location for the music video, "Changes," which premiered on the Conan O'Brien, show, CONAN, which aired on TBS.

From Langhorne's Facebook page regarding this video, "For years I have fantasized about singing with a gospel group. I've been aching to do something different lately, to experiment in ways that I haven't before. All in the name of peeling back the layers to reveal the fruit. I've also been spending a lot of time in New Orleans - lots of fruit there. About a month ago, I decided I wanted to make a video for the song Changes and asked Casey McAllister (keys in The Law) if he knew any gospel singers in town. He sent me a list of names - Topsy Chapman & Solid Harmony was the first group on it. We called, Topsy answered, and it was on. Topsy said she wasn't just a gospel singer - she sang everything, and was ready to roll when we were. A week later, my dear friend Joel Sadler (La BlogothèquePink House Sessions) met us at theFirst Presbyterian Church in New Orleans, and we brought the fantasy to life. Deep love and gratitude to everyone involved in creating this, and a million thank yous to Conan O'Brien Presents: Team Coco for premiering it. It was an honor to sing and perform with these beautiful folks - We hope it moves you."
