Children’s Sunday School - begins at 10:15am – 11:00am every Sunday.

  • TUESDAY – June 7th, 9:00am Presbytery meeting at Chinese Presbyterian Church, 2901 W. Esplanade Avenue. (First Presbyterian Church clerk of session or member of the session are wisely asked to attend).
  • WEDNESDAY, June 15, 6:30pm Session meeting.

            

(SCHEDULED EVENTS AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN)

  • FRIDAY – SUNDAY- June 3rd – June 5th, Bethesda Church conference will be held at FPC. Pastor Jibo will occupy room 207 on Friday, June 3rd from 6pm- 10pm;  and the Fellowship Hall on Sat., June 4th from 10am – 9pm and Sunday, June 5th from 9am – 3pm.
  • FRIDAY June 3, 8:00pm – 11:00pm Tango dancing.
  • WEDNESDAY – June 8, 6:30pm-8:00pm Karate classes with Bruce Sandifer in room 207.
  • SUNDAY – June 12th, Communion Sunday. Following worship service, a “Baby Shower” for Candice Bellau and Kelly Mallary  will be held in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to come and have fun.
  • MONDAY – June 13th, 7:00pm – 10:00pm Square Dance.
  • THURSDAY – June 16th, 6:30pm – 8:30pm Public Community Listening Session Regarding Youth Transfer Policies. This meeting will be held in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church. This event is free to the public.
  • MON.-FRI. June 20th - 27th, South Dakota Mission Group residing at FPC for mission work around the city.
  • SAT.-FRI. June 25th – July 4th, Greenville, Tn. Mission Group residing at FPC for mission work around the city.  They are willing to do any sprucing up of the building if needed and will supply all material.

 

(SCHEDULED OFF-SITE EVENT)

  • TUESDAY – June 7th, 5:30pm Cub Scout Pack (with a twist!) is forming! Come join parents and volunteers from FPCNO, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Broadmoor Improvement Association at a Wine and Cheese party for parents and interested volunteers at the Broadmoor Arts and Wellness Center (3900 General Taylor St). Senior District Executive, Mr. Yoni Sunshine, will share ways that this cooperative effort will offer boys (and GIRLS too, under a new pilot program)  can change lives for the better, engage our youth in the riches of Louisiana’s outdoor culture and teach skills and virtues that will last our kids' whole life long. This is also an opportunity for adults, whether you are parents or not, to make positive and meaningful differences in young lives—and in your own! Come and discover all the fun that is Cub Scouting!!
