A.D.: THE BIBLE CONTINUES on NBC -  Sunday, June 7 at 6:00pm will be the third series and we will be gathering at the home of TBA, for film and fellowship, on five consecutive Sunday evenings in different homes to watch and discuss “A.D. The Bible Continues” The story of the Apostles after the resurrection of Christ. The immediate aftermath of Christ's death and resurrection had a massive impact on his disciples, his mother, Mary, and key political and religious leaders of the era, events that would completely alter the entire world in a few centuries. The story of the apostles continues to have a direct and parallel impact on us, in the way that we are the gathering of Christians in the world trying to find our way forward, in our lives, and in our church.

ECOrecycling--an easy way to give to FPCNO! -  The FUNdraising Committee of First Pres is starting a recycling fundraiser! There’s nothing to buy (isn't that awesome!). We are simply asking you to protect the environment by donating your used consumer electronics and unwanted, broken or mismatched jewelry. Your used item(s) may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations. 100% of the proceeds will help fund First Pres. We will be collecting the following items: Cell Phones, Ink Jet Printer Cartridges, Laptops and Netbooks, iPads and Tablets, iPods, Digital Cameras, Metals (Gold, Silver and Platinum--not costume jewelry). So start cleaning out those drawers and closets!

Goodsearch.com is a website powered by Yahoo - that serves as a search domain for charities. If you use this website and designate First Presbyterian Church of New Orleans, we will get compensated for every search that takes place. If you're able to set Goodsearch.com as your home page, you’ll start using it regularly, and FPCNO will benefit from it! Don’t forget to add it to your phone, home computer and other mobile devices. You can also shop with Goodshop.com or the Goodshop App, and for every purchase, a percentage will go to the church. Every little bit helps. And Goodsearch tracks how much we have earned at the top left of the page, so check it out!  Thanks, Your FUNdraising Committee.
