First Pres Elder and mother of two, Tracy Rene Helms-Capasso, is forming a greater New Orleans youth fellowship among the New Orleans area Presbyterian Churches. She is excited about making this a reality to offer area kids the same positive experience she had as a teen. The first event will be a pool party for kids in grades 6-12 on Saturday, August 8 from 1-4.
What are Tracy Rene's initial ideas and goals for this group?

- connection and putting on God's armor
- doing fun things
- doing service things
- learning how we can take opportunities to further God's Kingdom
In proper Presbyterian fashion, the group is also seeking additional input from parents and youth!
Please share this event with any interested families with children in grades 6-12.
We are expecting youth from Camp Agape, Montreat and MO Ranch to attend this event and we can begin to flesh out these themes for everyone. Alex Pappas, the Youth Coordinator of the Presbytery of South Louisiana will also be in attendance.
