Henry Howard: Louisiana's Architect, Book Release and Signing

Join us in celebrating the release of the book Henry Howard: Louisiana's Architect, on Tuesday evening at the Historical New Orleans Collection.  The First Presbyterian Church building located at Lafayette Square was designed by Mr. Howard in 1855 and destroyed in 1938.

Photographer and architectural historian Robert S. Brantley provides a comprehensive survey of Howard’s career in this meticulously researched collection. Lavishly illustrated with photographs both new and historical, along with archival drawings and plans, Henry Howard: Louisiana’s Architect restores its subject to his rightful place in the pantheon of southern architects.

Books will be available June 9 at The Shop at The Collection and at independent bookstores.

Book Release and Signing: Tuesday, June 9, 2015, 6:00–8:00 p.m., 533 Royal Street
