A big thank you to our guest pastor this morning, the Rev. Claire Brooks, who is retired from Chinese Presbyterian Church in Kenner. She is the chairperson of the Board of Directors of Evergreen Life Services, which serves over 1,300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities offering a wide range of community-based services designed to not only meet basic needs, but also teach life skills and help each individual reach his or her own personal potential. Evergreen Life Services grew out of Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries, Inc., and is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization.
