This booklet is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend and Elder of First Presbyterian, who first proposed the project of writing our own Advent Devotional Booklet several years ago. Unfortunately, this did not come to fruition, but good ideas never die – they just wait for the right time.
During the Pandemic, the Worship Committee decided it was the “right” time to bring together personal thoughts from our own church members
and friends, to be read during Advent of 2020. As you will see, many people shared their thoughts and artwork, to make this booklet a reality. We are grateful for each writing and drawing that made this project possible.
