During our regular 11 am worship service on Sunday, July 19th, 2015 you are invited participate in a “Celebration of Music and Thanksgiving for the Life of Murray Brashears", who died March 10, 2015 here in New Orleans. Murray was a staunch, life long Presbyterian and an enthusiastic supporter of this church, as well as a husband, father and grandfather.
He loved New Orleans and music ( which lives on in Mary Frances and Shanda and his granddaughters Anais and Cylia), so it is fitting that we celebrate with special music this day, a second line, and a repast in the Fellowship Hall. Please come be part of this service of witness and thankfulness to God. Memorials in Murray’s honor may be made to First Presbyterian Church of New Orleans.
