This coming Sunday, known in the rest of the world as Transfiguration Sunday, is the Sunday before Mardi Gras in New Orleans, when parades rule the day! We will adjust our worship service on that day so folks can come to church before the parades start. We'll meet at 9:30 for a light breakfast, followed by a prayer service at 10:00, and be done by 10:30. No reservations necessary for the meal -- all are welcome! Have a happy and safe Mardi Gras!
And P.S. our monthly communion service in March will be on the second Sunday of the month, March 9. Because, Mardi Gras Sunday.
