Worship on SATURDAY AFTERNOON???

This weekend only! Worship time will be on SATURDAY, MARCH 8, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Why? Because the bad weather on Mardi Gras afternoon necessitated that the truck float parades that line up in front of the church on South Claiborne Avenue had to change their date to Sunday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m., which would make it exceedingly difficult to get to church. So we're taking a page from the playbook of our Catholic friends, who seem to enjoy their Saturday afternoon Mass, and have a Saturday afternoon service! Our monthly communion will take place on the following Sunday, March 16, when we'll be back to our regular 11:00 a.m. service time. Bonus: Sunday, March 9 is the first Sunday of Daylight Saving Time, and we get to sleep in!
