Join us on Tuesday, December 24 at 6:00 p.m. for our traditional Christmas Candlelight Service. We'll have a reading of the Christmas story from Luke's gospel in the King James Version, and we'll sing "Silent Night" as we light our candles.

Sunday, October 27, 2024 is our third annual Wear Your Halloween Costume or Saints Shirt (if you dare!) to Church Sunday! Come in costume or Saints gear, or not! We'll take a group photo and have Halloween snacks after worship. Elder Bruce Mather will be preaching, but Pastor Kathy and Richard will be there in costume!
This is the 23rd year of our annual pumpkin patch fundraiser at First Presbyterian Church! All proceeeds benefit the Program of Hope, our homeless outreach program.
We have a wide variety of inventory this year. Prices range from $1 - $50.
The hours of the pumpkin patch are below:
Monday - Friday: 3pm - Dusk
Saturday: 10am - Dusk
Sunday: 1pm - Dusk
We accept cash, cards, and checks (payable to First Presbyterian Church or FPCNO).

We're having a post-JazzFest FUNdraising Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the side yard of the church. $20 per plate donation suggested.
Yes, there will be hamburgers for those who don't do crawfish.

Holy Week is the most solemn week in the Christian year. Join us at First Presbyterian for events during this Holy Week.
Wednesday, March 27, 9:00 a.m.: Program of Hope, the church's ministry to the community, in the sanctuary.
Thursday, March 28, 6:00 p.m.: Maundy Thursday service. We will have a light supper of soup, bread, and salad at 6:00 p.m., followed by a worship service at 6:30 p.m. The service will include the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper and a service of tenebrae (scripture readings of the Passion Narrative and the extinguishing of candles). All are welcome.

Good news, yes, Ash Wednesday is open to all!
Come to church on Ash Wednesday between 9 and 10 in the morning or 5 and 6 in the afternoon to hear, yes, a word of hope, and to receive ashes. We'll have coffee in the morning and bottled water morning and afternoon.
This Lent we'll be following the theme "The Growing Season." Join us on Sundays at 9:45 for adult Bible study and at 11:00 for worship!
