Welcome to First Presbyterian Church in New Orleans!
We are a church with a rich history. Feel free to browse our website and discover more about us. First Presbyterian is an open and affirming congregation that welcomes and encourages all to join us in worship. We are affiliated with the PC(USA).
We are a More Light Congregation and a member of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians. We welcome all people, all races, and all sexual orientations.
The Church celebrates Reformation Sunday on the last Sunday of October, commemorating a significant event in the history of the Reformed tradition. It was on October 31, 1517, that Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the door of the church in Wittenberg.
Hello FPCNO! My name is Hannah Mills and I am serving for a year at the FPCNO as a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) on behalf of the Presbyterian Church (USA). I will be working part-time at this church through the Program of Hope, Christian education, and other service and educational projects throughout the year. I am thrilled to work with and get to know all of you!"
