Second Sundays School

Join us this Sunday at 10:00am as we welcome a new team of Sunday School teachers and students. We have 3 classes with ages ranging from preschool to high school.

We are offering Sunday School once a month to encourage our kids in their faith development while maximizing attendance. Come check out our new Second Sundays School classes as we prioritize our commitment to Christian Education.

The format will be Bible Story based, with different ways to learn the story for different age groups.

"Whatever your heart clings to and confides in, that is really your God." Martin Luther

Today, October 31, 2017, marks the 500 year anniversary of the date that, according to legend, a monk named Martin Luther defiantly nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church and, in the process, gave birth to the Reformation and Protestantism. We celebrated Reformation Sunday in worship this past week, and today we are sharing some interesting quotes, articles and thoughts.

Special Musical Worship Service led by Jeff Moles

Dear Church,

I’m really excited about worship this week! My dear friend Jeff Moles will be in town and has offered to share his musical gifts with the congregation. I’ve worked with quite a number of music directors, organists, and pianists over the years, and can say without exception that no one did a better job than Jeff at helping the congregation to worship through music. We are blessed that he is sharing that gift with us on Sunday.

Sunday Services Cancelled

We have decided to cancel this weekend's activities, including Sunday worship, Sunday School, and the Pumpkin Patch. This decision is based on the timing of the storm and the reality of the problems with the city infrastructure in handling this weather.

Let's keep one another, and the rest of the city and Gulf Coast, in our corporate prayers.

Grace and peace,
Pastor Kim
